IRI Participates in the Electronics Recycling Summit in San Francisco, California, May 8-11, 2006

IRI Philippines joined the Electronics Recycling Summit (ERS) held in San Francisco, California on May 08-11, 2006. The event, co-sponsored by the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) and International Association of Electronics Recyclers (IAER) of which IRI is a proud member of, is participated in by the US Government representatives, electronics manufacturers, recyclers, and students. IRI Philippines has been joining this event since 2002.

An International Symposium on Electronics and the Environment (ISEE), a major international event on the environment and recycling related to electronics was also held in conjunction with the ERS. To further strengthen its position in the recycling industry, Mr. Lee Salvatore Echiverri, the Company's General Manager presented the conditions of electronics recycling in the South East Asia.. Among the audiences were representatives from the US Government, international organizations, electronics manufacturers and recyclers.

Metech International, IRI's business partner based in the US has set up a booth and was also one of the sponsors of the event.
